Hope you are all having a great time this festive season. I am sharing this ‘Milk Toffee’ recipe with you all so that you can try making them during this season. It is easier to make yet very tasty.
Condensed Milk (milkmaid) – 1 tin
Sugar – 1 tin
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Cardamom powder – 6
Chopped cashew nuts
Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
1. Mix together the condensed milk, water and sugar and cook on a low flame. 2. When the mixture collects and the sides of the pan dries up slightly, add the cardamom powder and vanilla.
3. If desired, add the chopped cashew nuts and cocoa powder. The cocoa powder should be mixed to a paste with a little water earlier.
4. Turn the mixture on to a butter tray and flatten. The tray has to be coated with a thin layer of butter before the mixture is poured on.
5. When it is sufficiently dried, cut in pieces of desired sizes.
