Natural Hair Care with Emma Rayen Herbal Hair Oil Powder

Jul 09, 2018, By joshita

Hello all,

Welcome back to my blog. We all love soft, silky and healthy Rapunzel like hair. Don’t we? But pollution, chemicals, stress and unhealthy lifestyle takes a toll on our skin and hair. A few weeks back, I received a hair oil powder from Emma Rayen which is homemade with the goodness of natural herbs. It reminded me of the traditional hair oil and hair pack which my grandma used to make.

Apart from the fact that it is natural, what I loved the most is that it is a – hair oil powder. It is in powder form and we have to add boiled oil according to the instruction. Being a DIY lover, the process of making this oil was sheer joy. Today I’ll be sharing with you all how this oil worked on me.

Packaging

The hair oil powder comes in a plastic container which is of good quality and reached me safely. The brand name and product name were printed on the cap of the container. The instructions to make the oil and how to use are mentioned on the side. I would suggest them to add the details of price, quantity and shelf life for reference.

Ingredients

Amla, Hibiscus, Neem, Keelaneli, Kadukka, Curry leaves, Fenugreek, Tulsi etc.

Instructions

Heat 1.5 litres of oil (60% gingelly oil, 30% coconut oil and 10% castor oil) in a pan, when it is about to boil switch off the flame and add 250 grams of hair oil powder. Let it cool for a day or two, filter (optional) and store. Use it on a daily basis for better results.

Price

INR 190 for 250 grams

My Experience

As I mentioned earlier, making my own hair oil gave me a sense of achievement and smelling the freshly brewed oil was therapeutic. It was an easy process and if beginners like me can do it, and then anybody can do it. The hair oil has the fragrance of traditional herbs and the smell itself is tempting to use it. I take few drops of the oil and warm it between my palms and massage it on my scalp. I also apply it to the ends of my hair where it is quite dry. I leave it for about an hour and wash it off with my regular shampoo.

Right after I washed my hair with shampoo, I felt that my hair had become soft and had less tangles. After drying my hair, it felt smooth, bouncy and conditioned. It felt like I had applied a hair mask and rinsed off. I was impressed with my first time experience. My hair smelt of the herbs which lasted for a day till I washed my hair. After a few uses, I can see that my hair has become stronger, smoother and easier to maintain. I’m sure that with regular usage, it will control hair fall and also help in faster hair growth as it has very effective natural ingredients for hair care.

Final Verdict

Loaded with the goodness of natural herbs, Emma Rayen hair oil powder is a good and safe choice. It is affordable as well and would last for a long time. I would highly recommend this hair oil powder to you all.
