Hope you are all doing good. I strongly believe that an eye liner and a lipstick can change our makeup game. Don’t you think so? But it is important to find the right eye liner. Today I’ll be sharing my views on Mary Kay eyeliner, which I’ve been using for few weeks.
About Mary Kay
Mary Kay Inc. is an American privately owned multi-level marketing company that sells cosmetics products. The company was founded by Mary Kay Ash in 1963. Mary Kay was the sixth largest multi-level marketing company in the world in 2015. They have a wide range of skin care and makeup products.
The eyeliner is in the form of a retractable pencil, which is convenient to use and travel friendly. On the cap, there is a twisting shaper. Isn’t that cool? It has a cardboard outer packaging which mentions the ingredients list, method to apply and manufacturing details.

Pigmentation & Consistency
The eyeliner is well pigmented and is one of the jet black eye liners I’ve used. It has a creamy consistency and slides easily on the eye lids without tugging.
They are available in two more shades such as MK Deep Brown & MK Steely.
The eyeliner is easy to use when compared to liquid eye liners, which are quite messy. It glides smoothly on the eye lids and is transfer proof. As I have hooded eyes, most of the creamy gel eye liners tend to transfer on the eye lid easily. But this eye liner didn’t transfer inspite of being creamy. It is pigmented and instantly adds dimension to my eyes.
It is smudge proof, unless it is smudged vigorously. It stays on my eye lids for about 6 hours and then it slightly fades. It is water resistant and can be removed completely only with an oil based cleanser. I was completely enjoying the eye liner unless I tried to shape it with the shaper. In the process of shaping, the eye liner stuck to the shaper and created a mess.
Other than that, I do not have any complaints about the eyeliner and it is a good choice for those who prefer retractable eye liners instead of liquid or felt tip liners.
