Skin & Hair Care with Nature’s Absolutes Lavender Water

Mar 22, 2018, By joshita

Hello all,

Welcome to my blog. Summer has started in India and it is definitely more hot than the previous years. Just in the middle of the sunny day, sometimes all I want to do is splash water on my face. But that’s not possible when you are at work. So one product that I use to refresh my skin and mind during Summer is the lavender water mist from Nature’s Absolutes.

If you have been following my blog, you’d know how much I love lavender. In the past, I’ve tried Nature’s Absolutes’ lavender oil and lush tresses hair oil, which I absolutely loved. Today I’m going to share my experience about the lavender water from their newly launched floral water collection. They have 4 variants – Jasmine, Lavender, Rose and Vettiver.

The lavender water is packed in a travel friendly plastic bottle which has an additional spray nozzle. One can attach the spray nozzle and secure it with the provided cap. The spray nozzle makes it very convenient to use and it spray the right amount of lavender water.

Product Description

Our lavender water is produced from organically grown lavender found in the valleys of Kashmir and maintaining the highest standards of quality during extraction. Nature’s Absolutes lavender water is produced during the extraction of steam distilled lavender essential oil. With Nature’s Absolutes, you are guaranteed absolutely pure, steam distilled lavender water without any compromise in its quality or the numerous benefits of this floral water.

It is

  • Sulphate and Paraben free
  • Vegan
  • Cruelty Free
  • Wild Harvested
  • Handmade

INR 300 for 100 ml.

Goodness of Lavender

  • Lavender is anti-inflammatory and the water can be used to soothe skin inflammation and redness.
  • It is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal in nature and can treat and prevent acne.
  • It can cure dandruff as well and makes the hair soft and shiny.
  • Lavender is rich in antioxidants and regular usage makes the skin bright, glowing and delays the ageing process.

How To use it?

Spray it on your face and use a cotton pad to wipe off the excess oil and dirt. This is an easy way to feel fresh and clean during Summer.

After cleansing your face with a cleanser, spray the floral water as a toner. It gets absorbed quickly, balances the PH level of the skin and makes the skin refreshed. You can use it in your morning and night time skincare routine.

Face Pack

Add a few drops of lavender water with your regular face pack and apply it on your face. It is a better substitute than water.

Hair Oil

Lavender is very beneficial for hair care as well. So after oiling your hair, spray the lavender water on your scalp and massage. It cures dandruff and itchy scalp as well.

Lavender water can eliminate bad odor and work as a deodarant. Spray it in your armpits and neck and you are good to go. This is one of my favorite uses as I sweat excessively and this is a handy trick.

Better Sleep

It is no secret that lavender has therapeutic properties. If you have anxiety or sleep issues, all you have to do is, spray it on your pillow and take a deep breath. Just close your eyes and relax!

My Experience

The lavender water has a sturdy and convenient packaging which is also travel friendly. It has no artificial fragrance and it smells so pure and relaxing. The fragrance isn’t strong though and wouldn’t irritate sensitive noses. I love how evenly it gets sprayed and the mild cooling sensation it gives. It makes the skin soft and refreshes the senses. This is suitable for all skin types and also sensitive skin. I love using it in my skin and hair care routine and this is perfect for Summer.

Final Verdict

If you want to experience the goodness of lavender water in its purest form, you have to try Nature’s Absolutes lavender water.

Hey! Thanks so much for this post. I use vinegar as a cleaner but it smells so strong, even with lemon in it. I want to try the rosemary lavender combo instead, but my mom is super allergic to lavender. She watches my son twice a week at my house so I might need something else. Any alternatives to the lavender? Thanks!
